SPECIAL
BULLETIN BY BOSCH UNION
Dr.
M.L. King gave his life on April 4,1968 in Memphis Tennessee in support of
Sanitation workers to have a Union.
The
slogan I AM A MAN appeared at this great march.
One
of main themes of the Civil Rights Movement was Workers Rights are Human Rights.
This is one of those facts about the movement that history never educated the
public on.
The
United Electrical & Machine Workers Union U.E.was the first Union to support
Dr. King and Civil Rights Movement in a letter sent to him.
C.A.R.,
NAACP, RANDY ROYAL PHILIPI CHRUCH OF CHRIST, AND OTHERS IN THE COMMUNITY HAVE
ALWAYS SUPPORTED OUR EFFORTS TO ORGANIZE.
CAAMWU,
our Union at Bosch is encouraging workers here to join us in the march on
January 17, 2005 at 9.00 a.m. at Thomas Foreman Park, West Greeneville.
Workers
are asked to wear stickers on Friday of this week in support of Dr. King and the
Movement.
