This is just one way that white
workers here are discriminated against just like their Black Co- workers. Look
at the engineering position that is being filled Gary and his Senior management
that goes out and hires from the outside instead of filling these jobs by
workers here who are capable of being trained to do these jobs. Mean while
decisions are now being made to move certain Black workers out and any White
worker that can’t keep up with production. The feeling is that we will see
this when we return from our next Holiday Break or it may begin before we go out
for that break. The question we ask is which BLACK OR WHITE WORKER FEELS
THAT THEY ARE NOT CAPABLE OF LEARNING THESE JOBS OR ABLE TO BE TRAINED FOR THESE
JOBS? THIS IS DISCRIMINATION. Facts
show that any plants that have a higher number of Black workers, the working
conditions and pay are much lower than a plant that has more White workers. We
also see who gets most favorable treatment at this division. The Union is
fighting for fair and just pay and working conditions for all workers no matter
who you are White, Black, or Mexican. Whether we are for the Union or not when
we see the petition and are being asked to read it and sign it think of our
working conditions and the cost of living now and the management we now work
under. This is why we are asking workers also to wear something blue, not just
for the Union only, but to take a stand against these working conditions. Just
because we punch a clock each day to take care of our families this does not
mean that we don’t have any RIGHTS OR GIVE UP ANY OF OUR RIGHTS AS
WORKERS. We are encouraging
all workers no matter who you are to go up and review your personnel file it is
going to be very important in the near future for all to know what has been put
in your file. Again we are encouraging workers not to sign any paper that is
going to cost you your job. Whether it is your evaluation or write up for bad
work please do not sign this paper. It will be used against you. A Worker fell
prey to this last week and was let go Right in the winter and the before the
Holiday Break.
BONUS
CHECK FOR CHRISTMAS
For the last several years Gary Utzs
and Senior management has stolen our Bonuses
and
we as workers have gotten nothing. It is time we demand to be given what we
rightly earn we now know that our sister plant in Louisville Kt. Gets a bonus we
also know that the Bosch plant in Missouri also gets a Bonus. We are all in the
Bosch family we want to be paid as such.
401K
IS THIS GOOD OR BAD
While
this may look like a good deal and it is. Which one of us will be here to
collect on this? No company makes any decision that doesn’t have a reverse
effect on other worker somewhere else.
We
want all workers to be able and sit down and discuss all the issues that we are
now facing at this division. We have put the facts out as they happen to each of
our co-workers. We are tired of seeing management mistreat some and give to
others. We are tired of this management treating workers like we are a piece of
property. We want to see us all lift ourselves up and feel good about coming to
work and doing the best job we can do and be rewarded for that. We who work on
the floor are not getting this with this management. We can change things
together and don’t let management divide us. Unions and other organization are
willing to come to our aide. Make a
commitment now to attend the next meeting that is being planed. IN
